Hey bros,

Excited to introduce version 1 of the revamped website. For those who’ve already joined—welcome! In addition to a last-minute sanity check, I wanted to start this thread to share a bit more context on the progress from the old site to v1, and what’s coming next in the near- and medium-term.

Specific thanks to Saul Brauns, Ted Crall, Caleb Epstein, Arjun Caprihan, and the board for the time and effort here!

What you see now includes a reorganized front-end and enhanced backend security (for reference: we had 16 spam-like visitors in the past two years; that number is now exactly zero). The initial goal was two-fold:

1. Move away from the default boilerplate to something that feels more org-specific, and

2. Lay a foundation we can build on—like Jimbro mentioned in yesterday’s note re: fund info.

Here’s a quick flavor of what’s coming:

Immediate and/or Ongoing

• Debugging (please text, email, or message me via the site if you catch any glitches 🙏)

• Declutter the Bros page

• Knock out low-hanging fruit to make the site both more functional and less Wix-generic (forum improvements, calendar, etc.)

Longform

• Fund areas: contributions, live updates, MarketWatch integration

• More meaningful steps toward the Facebook-meets-LinkedIn goal (search is front of mind)

• Begin orienting LampWorld to help with the Brotherhood’s white whale: buying Roots :)
